2021 DELDON Red Wine Blend

The second signature wine of WNBA Superstar Elena Delle Donne.

All proceeds from the sale of this wine will go to support the DD Entrepreneural Foundation and benefit female entrepreneurial and educational initiatives in the state of Delaware and beyond.

The site where the grapes are grown has rich loam and clay soils that hold water late into the growing season so they are typically dry farmed.

The flavor profile is bright with mostly red fruits and lively tones from these grapes. The texture is silky and rich with very nice weight on the palate. The aromas are black cherry, plum, and currant mingled with some vanilla, tobacco, and white pepper notes. The mid palate flavors are blueberry, cedar, clove, and cherry. The finish is smooth and long with notes of blackberry, graphite or cedar, espresso, and chocolate.
